Footwear icon Converse is reuniting with American-born, Paris-based designer Rick Owens – nicknamed The Lord of Darkness for his gothic spin on fashion-sportswear hybrids. To create the TURBODRK sneakers, Rick Owens offers an edgy take on Converse’s classic Chuck 70s. This bold reinterpretation distorts the original silhouette with the addition of an elongated tongue, a distinctive moulded rubber dual toe and square grill toe cap, as well as a moulded rubber heel. Custom DRKSHDW and TURBODRK iconography is featured throughout, including a co-branded logo patch at the tongue that celebrates this collaboration.
